Best place to stay in our trip to Timor-leste.I would like in the future to come again! You have a hut just for you with a private shower. Bathrooms are centraly located in the property (there are several). Payement options are varied. This was very important for us, as we had little cash with us, we found a way to pay without any extra fees.Lunch and dinners are great and they schedule them according to your dives. I did all the possible dives while I was there, and even insisted on more (night dive), which they made possible, even though the tides were not on our side.Best dives I ever did! I even asked to go diving in places where there was not so much to see, as it was a sensorial overload :PHope to see you guys soon!

Impeccable vibes at the Atauro Dive Resort: everything was perfect, from the point of check-in by the friendly management team, to settling in at this beautiful part of the world, and the excellent diving with the local team the following morning. Brekkie, lunch and dinner all delicious, free coffee available all day and night, and a fridge is here for a well deserved post-dive beer. 🍻Particular shout-out to Divemaster/Manager Paul who led us around some of the most pristine coral reef gardens I’ve ever seen in my life. Stayed for two nights, wish I was around for so much longer.I’ll be back someday! 🫶🏝️🇹🇱

I had an amazing trip here in May 2025 with my brother. The staff were amazing and very considerate. The diving is world class! Will be coming back for another Dive trip soon! This is the only accomodation on the island with running water for showers. Location is really close to the ferry drop off.Food is excellent! Home cooked meals

Fabulous place to relax and dive. The reef was very close to shore with 100 drop offs and diverse coral and wildlife. Our hosts Caroline and Paul made the stay and dives. Safi and Django (family owners) showed wonder attentiveness and great for a chat. Thanks all.

I stayed at Atauro Dive Resort for one night and had a lovely experience. The owner Safi and the managers are absolutely lovely. Considering how remote the island is, they’ve got great facilities. If you want breakfast, lunch or dinner, they’ll make it for you. They facilitate scuba and snorkeling trips and help you out with anything you might need. Unfortunately for me, I was on Atauro Island travel vlogging and my camera got damaged… so I had to leave earlier than expected. Despite the booking being non-refundable, they still gave me the money I paid for an upcoming night back due to the situation. Couldn’t recommend them enough!

I will start by saying that I highly recommend this place to anyone travelling to Beloi, Atauro. I had the best time there, everything was amazing – the beach is nice and clean, the premises are well taken care of – lots of greenery, which is very pleasant to the eye. The bungalows are very cure. Everything is very clean everywhere. The food was delicious and they have the best coconut ice-cream ever. And all the staff is just the most amazing and kind people from the owner to the management to the girls. I will repeat myself, I highly recommend the place.

10 min walk from the port, Caroline is an excellent coach for me as a scuba diving beginner. Left behind something behind and am really grateful that Paul helped out passing them on to someone returning to Dili. Thank you!

Exceptional experience. Good food, beautiful beaches and coral, and Beloi and Villa are wonderful. I made a mistake in booking our group, and staff accommodated us regardless. Cannot recommend enough.

I had an amazing stay at the Atauro Dive Resort! The atmosphere is super relaxed and welcoming. The staff is very friendly and keeps everything in excellent condition! The room, toilet and showers are top!The food is very good and varies every day (not only rice:) ).Well maintained equipment in all sizes is available and of course the diving is excellent! No big animals like sharks or rays on the reefs, but soo many different fish species, Murray eels, slugs, corals…wow!!!I did my open water here and will do the advanced as well, because the instructions are well trained and the learning atmosphere is very comfortable.I’d definitely recommend staying here!

A wonderful place to stay and/or dive!We did both and cannot recommend it highly enough. The resort is managed by the lovely Caroline and Paul who are also the senior dive masters. The huts are comfortable and the owners have done a great job positioning these so it feels like there is lots of space. They are basic island huts – do not expect aircon or hot water (no where on the island has these). You will get woken early by the resident rooster. This is part of the charm and it means you get to see an amazing sunrise whilst having a swim in the amazing clear and calm sea right on your door stepThe food was amazing! Again, it’s a remote island so it’s basic, but the flavour was amazing! Kudos to the kitchen staff. We did 3 dives and were a bit nervous to start as it had been a long time – but Paul was great. It’s a super professional outfit – but also very relaxed which is niceWill be back for sure

We stayed two nights at Atauro Dive Resort and would definitely stay again. Staff were all so welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The facilities were kept up really well and the rooms were comfortable. The new managers Caroline and Paul, provide a really supportive atmosphere for staff and guests alike. We did a refresher and discover dive after we left the accommodation and it was lovely to be able to come back. The resort is small, with a lovely garden and chickens roaming around, so makes for a more cosy atmosphere. The food is delicious and there was always a good selection of dishes. We never went hungry. The home made ice cream was definitely a nice touch.Watching sunrise from the beach in front of our bungalow was a definite bonus!

We’ve dived with ADR on two separate holidays and really enjoyed our experiences with them. The dive centre is very laid back and has a nice vibe. Staff are friendly, helpful and accommodating. The dive guides make sure you have a good diving experience and point out lots of interesting marine life. Only a couple of small suggestions for improvement: have more options for morning tea (fruit etc) and bring hot water for those who don’t drink standard coffee and tea.

Absolutely wonderful dive resort, I really can’t recommend it enough. All the staff are amazing, shout out to Saffy and wonderful dive instructor Didi! Food is great and varied and you should definitely try the homemade ice cream too. Rooms are basic but everything works and they are cleaned daily. Toilets and facilities also all very clean. Would definitely return. Make sure you pay close attention to the ferry/flight times and give yourself enough time in advance for transfers.
